It is not unusual for men (British or otherwise) these days to remove unwanted hair at the eyebrows. Do you have some wild eyebrow hair bothering you? Or do you just want to touch up your ”Shin Chan” eyebrows? No worries, The Beard Man explains to you how to trim your eyebrow hairs with a few simple steps by epilating or trimming them with a nose hair trimmer.

Those who want to be good looking have to suffer pain. This applies to tweezing your eyebrows, but there’s nothing new to say about that. Not confident in your own ability? Then engage a professional barber or make an appointment with a beautician.

Some tips for tweezing your eyebrows:

  1. Epilate in a curve: this way you maintain the natural shape of your eyebrows. Easier said than done, I know….
  2. Tweeze under the brows: to keep a nice shape, only tweeze the underside of your brows. Make an exception for that one stray hair above the eyebrows.
  3. Pause: to avoid regrets, take a step back and look at the whole face. It’s easier to judge from a distance.

Eyebrow Trimming Tips

Eyebrow trimming, how does it work?

You can cut away unwanted hair with a pair of beard scissors, but this comes with risks, especially if you are clumsy like The Beard Man. The safest and least painful way to trim your eyebrows is to use a precision trimmer. This can be a nose hair trimmer with a special eyebrow comb attachment or a beard trimmer that you can use as a precision trimmer. Precision trimmers in Britain are available in various online shops and the supermarket.

  1. Only use the nose trimmer if it has a special eyebrow comb attachment.
  2. Always trim in the direction of hair growth
  3. Take a break: remove loose hair in between trims. This way you can better determine whether the shape of your eyebrows is to your liking.
  4. Remove stray hair with scissors

Finally, we advise against using a normal trimmer or a shaver. You wouldn’t be the first to have a bite in your eyebrows if you do so.
